Ill Get It Done is a celebration of Black women as the backbone of society. The figure is adorned with her accoutrements, carrying the weight of responsibilities both seen and unseen. Despite the demands placed upon her, she continues to move forward with style, grace, beauty and determination. The work honors all the black women that I know and love... even the ones I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet.
