Justice Dwight

RMy work celebrates identity, beauty, and resilience through the lens of my lived experience as a Black queer person. Using painting, quilting, and mixed media, I create vibrant portraits that explore intimacy, community, self-expression, and joy.

At the heart of my practice is a commitment to Black whimsy and Joy. Whether creating quilts, paintings, murals, or installations, I seek to center stories that have historically been overlooked and to create spaces where Black and queer people are not only seen, but celebrated.
