Faithe Norrell is a self-taught Richmond artist whose vibrant work spans canvas, clothing, furniture, and mixed media. Known for her vivid use of color, balance, rhythm, and movement, she creates abstracts, cityscapes, florals, still lifes, collages, and landscapes, while her figurative work draws from folk and Cubist traditions. Through her wearable art business, Pleasin' Honi, Norrell transforms clothing and shoes with hand-painted imagery, distressed denim, and reconstructed materials, creating one-of-a-kind pieces.

Growing up in Richmond in the 1950s, when formal art instruction was largely inaccessible to children of color, Norrell developed her practice through experimentation and years of independent study. Her work has since been exhibited throughout Richmond, including at Crossroads Art Center and the Black History Museum and Cultural Center, and is held in private collections across the country. She has been featured in Virginia Living, participated in the Richmond Symphony Orchestra League's Designer House, and her painting Lady Link was selected as the signature artwork for the Richmond Chapter of The Links, Incorporated's 2019 art auction at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
